Specialty/Research Focus
Young Adult Psychosis and Mania
Professional Summary
My expertise is in adult general psychiatry, inpatient psychiatry, medication management, and psychotherapeutic interventions for psychotic, mood, anxiety, substance use, and other psychiatric disorders. I spent additional time during training working in inpatient psychiatry, emergency psychiatry, and intensive care psychiatry working with psychosis and mania. I bring a unique background and approach to psychiatry and patient care given prior careers outside of medicine. I am also passionate about working with and teaching residents, medical students, and psychology trainees. I had so much support and important mentorship as a student and resident I hope to cultivate the same inspiration I experienced.
Education and Training
- Residency in Psychiatry, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo
- MD, Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo

Personal Interests
My time away from patient care is spent cooking, woodworking, drawing & painting, writing food blog reviews. I have been fortunate enough to interact with people from a wide variety of backrounds over the course of multiple careers which allows me to find commonalities that I use to build trust with patients.
