Professional Summary
With a comprehensive background spanning 2 years in mental health, I have dedicated my career to advancing mental health through evidence-based practices and training new practitioners in evidenced-based practice. Specializing in youth, families, and forensics, I bring a greater understanding of behavior, relationships, and mental health. Though my professional development, I have honed my skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and 3rd Wave Behaviorism, consistently improving outcomes with my clients. I am committed to my continued education, ensuring that I remain at the forefront of advancements in mental health research and treatment. During my time at Erie County Youth Detention, I have grown a deep appreciation for the importance of empathy and collaboration in mental health care. Recognizing client’s own self-knowledge and fostering a collaborative working relationship built on respect and safety are foundational in our work together.
