Professional Summary
I am an early career psychiatrist specializing in general adult psychiatry, working across both outpatient and consultation-liaison settings. I treat a wide range of psychiatric conditions, with a focus on mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, PTSD, and personality disorders. I am particularly interested in emerging adulthood, reproductive/perinatal psychiatry, and LGBTQ+ mental health. During my general psychiatry residency, I served as Outpatient Chief and completed the medical educator track. In addition to my roles at Erie County Medical Center and Buffalo General Hospital, I am eager to integrate mental health into broader medical care and hope to contribute as an embedded psychiatrist in a women’s health clinic.
My approach is informed by psychodynamic principles, which allow me to cultivate meaningful therapeutic relationships and support patients in achieving personal goals. I also incorporate elements of positive psychology to enhance resilience and well-being. I am committed to ongoing education and am currently exploring integrative and lifestyle medicine to expand my practice. Teaching and mentorship are deeply important to me. I aim to inspire trainees, help them discover their niche, and contribute to their growth, while also giving back to the program that shaped my career.
