Professional Summary
As a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist it is important to me to understand not only the child but the family and systems in which they live day to day. I work with families to treat children with ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, and many other psychiatric conditions. I value the importance of teamwork and collaboration with both families, schools, and providers in my work. I would like to emphasize that it is not just the child I treat, but the family as well. I am a firm believer that making things work is about trying differently not always harder.
In addition to treating children, supporting Veterans and their families are an important part of my practice. As an Army Veteran, I have a personal understanding of military culture and the challenges of transitioning back into civilian life.
Outside of clinic I am active in different spaces to support mental health and provide education in our community. I work within our Buffalo Public Schools providing school consultation, and attend Saturday Academies on occasion. I also value educating the future healthcare providers at in our community, and work as a faculty coach at the Jacob School of Medicine at UB with medical students and residents.
