Professional Summary
I am a public health-oriented child and adolescent psychiatrist, working for much of the past decade at the interface of child mental health, primary care, and schools. Clinically, I have worked for most of the past decade in collaborative care, addressing the mismatch in child mental health needs and clinical service availability by partnering with primary care clinicians to provide education, consultation, early intervention, and complex treatment planning supports to patients and families needing mental health support in the primary care setting.
I am also honored to serve as the Program Director of the UB’s Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship, where we train our region’s future child and adolescent psychiatrists. I also serve at the Jacobs School of Medicine & Biomedical Sciences as the Director of the Learning Communities and Co-Director of the CommunityConnect service learning programs, where I get to work on community-building and community-bridging between medicine and the Western New York Community.
